With over five years of public service experience, Abdifatah has served in key institutions including the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) and the Public Service Commission, building a strong foundation in governance, compliance, and community engagement. At Haki Na Sheria, his contributions have been instrumental in expanding legal identity access, enhancing data-driven reporting through platforms like Salesforce, and strengthening advocacy for inclusive documentation policies.
In 2024, Abdifatah was awarded the Human Rights Defender Award by the National Coalition of Human Rights Defenders – Kenya (Defenders Coalition) in recognition of his courageous and impactful work promoting legal identity rights in historically underserved and high-risk areas.
He is passionate about justice, inclusion, and community empowerment. Outside of work, Abdifatah enjoys traveling and is known for his commitment to completing every task with diligence and excellence.
