Education & Training

Khasida is especially passionate about advocating for the rights and protection of children. She has worked extensively to ensure that children in underserved communities, including those affected by or at risk of statelessness and displacement, have access to legal identity and essential services. Since 2017, she has organized over 35 mobile registration drives for both ID and birth registration, resulting in more than 10,000 individuals being issued with nationality documents—primarily birth certificates. Her advocacy is grounded in both personal conviction and years of experience in community-based programming and research.
At HSI, Khasida has led initiatives that bridge grassroots realities with policy change, specializing in community access and mobility, research scoping, participatory research design, and field coordination. She is skilled in culturally grounded reporting and translation, and offers deep contextual analysis that helps partners navigate complex local dynamics.
As a core member of HSI’s advisory branch, Khasida brings her expertise and thought partnership to organizations seeking to engage ethically and effectively with communities on the margins. Her approach is people-centered, collaborative, and driven by the belief that inclusive, locally informed work leads to more just and sustainable outcomes.
